Ing. Vojtěch Kamenský, Ph.D.

I graduated from the Master’s program System Integration of Healthcare Processes at the FBMI CTU. My focus was on the evaluation of health technologies, management of medical technology and legislation related to medical devices. I continued with doctoral studies at the Faculty of Biomedical and Clinical Technology and now I work here as an academic assistant. I concentrate on the issue of modeling in the evaluation of medical technologies and its medical devices application with a focus on diagnostic technology, legislation related to medical technology and quality of health care sector. I am the main author of the study “Intraoperative Radiotherapy with the Use of Intrabeam in the Early Stage of Breast Cancer”, participate in a grant project “Concept of Modeling in Health Technology Assessmentto Support the Decision Process in the Conditions of the Czech Healthcare System”. In cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, I dealt with a project “Assistive Technologies in Health Services”.
